Through your Bear Experience, you will learn how to recognize, organize, and share your growth through guided tracks, checklists, badges, and the Bear Experience Transcript. Every experience matters, and this system helps students connect what they do at UCA to who they are becoming.
HOW IT WORKS
Tracks
Tracks are guided pathways that help students build real skills through meaningful experiences. Each track focuses on a specific area of development and gives students a clear way to grow step-by-step.
Checklists
Each track includes a checklist. Checklists break the track into action steps such as attending a workshop, completing an activity, reflecting on what was learned, or participating in an experience. As students complete each item, they can track their progress and see what comes next.
Badges
Digital badges help students communicate their experiences in a language employers understand. Earned after completing key milestones, such as finishing a checklist or track, badges serve as verifiable, shareable proof of achievement and skill development.
Bear Experience Transcript
The Bear Experience Transcript helps students organize and showcase their involvement, growth, and accomplishments outside the classroom. It gives students a clear way to tell the story of their UCA experience.
